the beginning of our story

casa paguimalal

This is where Marina and Guillermo,  grew up vacationing, and where their family and love story began.

Casa Paguimalal is a family-owned estate, created as an intimate and exclusive retreat.

The name Paguimalal carries that same spirit. It blends the first syllables of their children’s names, Paloma, Guillermo, and Matilde, with the Mapuche word malal, meaning place. It also echoes Puma Malal, often interpreted as a refuge for mountain lion cubs, a quiet and protected space.

Today, that sense of home remains at the heart of everything. Guests often say they feel it from the moment they arrive. The team, many of whom have long-standing ties to the house and its owners, care for the space with the familiarity and warmth of family.
